As a teenager, Heather learned about the power of nature and outdoor activities to positively affect her mental health, leading her to help lead youth and young adults to discover their own benefits through new and old experiences, conventional and unconventional. She uses a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach while seeing each person as a unique culmination of their own neurobiology and environment.
